Qilin Dai Lab

Overview of Services

The Dai research group focuses on energy conversion, energy saving, and energy storage with an emphasis on photovoltaics, light-emitting diodes, photodetectors and lithium-ion batteries.

Dai group research includes three aspects.

  1. nanomaterial synthesis for perovskite solar cells, LEDs, and photodetectors toward high stability and high efficiency.
  2. nanosized metal oxide synthesis for lithium-ion batteries
  3. high energy nanomagnets synthesis and the application in energy storage.  The  Dai  group offers research opportunities for graduate, undergraduate and visiting students, who are interested in our research.

Our lab focuses on thin film solar cell fabrication and characteriztion, such as spin coating, thermal evaporation, J-V curve and PL&TRPL techniques.
