Welcome to the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) core facility at the University of Mississippi, located within the School of Pharmacy (SoP). We offer access to our state-of-the-art equipment for both internal academic community and external researchers.
Our facility host three advanced high-resolution NMR spectrometers located in two laboratories in the SoP buildings. The capability of instrumentation allows to conduct research in variety of research areas including biomacromolecules, natural product and small molecules. All spectrometers have capability to perform experiments on 1H, 13C, 15N, and 19F.
Available Instruments
1. Bruker 400 MHz North:400 MHz Avance IIIHD spectrometer equipped with 5mm RT Brod Band Probe (BBO) North with VT capability and automatic shimming.
2. Bruker 500 MHz with CryoProbe: 500 MHz Avance IIIHD spectrometer equipped with 5mm Prodiogy H/F-BBO cryoprobe, BCU-I temperature controller.
3. Varian Inova 600 MHz: 600 MHz Avance III spectrometer equipped with 5mm RT Broad Band Probe (BBFO) and VT capabilities.
