Social Science Resource Center

Overview of Services

The Social Science Research Center is a 75 year old interdisiciplinary research unit located on the campus of Mississippi State University. 

Services and expertise include:

  • qualitative and quantiative research methodology including focus group, interview, and other person-centered research
  • systems change planning and policy analysis, education, programing, and outreach to support project goals

The Evaluation Research Group can conduct formative and summative evaluations to guide program implementation.

The Survey Research Lab conducts telephone, web-based, and mail surveys across a variety of disciplines.

Our social scientists can support a variety of interdisciplinary efforts from broader impacts to public health to policy analysis.
