Step 1: Contact us at services.mtl@computationalgenomics.ca with a summary of your needs. C3G get back to you to discuss a plan and provide a ballpark estimate of costs. Consultations for project planning are free of charge.
Step 2: To file an official service request or to simply obtain an official quote, first-time customers need to register for an iLab account. You will receive a Welcome Email from iLab (typically within one business day) with login credentials (*). First time iLab users may also want to consult the iLab customer manual.
Step 3: C3G will initiate a new request on your behalf and send you a pdf quotation along with payment instructions.
* Once registered and setup, your iLab account can be used with a multitude of other cores throughout the world using iLab to manage requests and billing.

The C3G analysis team can advise users in the early stages of their project on the best experiments to run given their research question and constraints. This is based on extensive experience of the potential of each technology from a bioinformatics perspective. Taking that extra step can save a lot of time and precious research funding to avoid wasting resources on instrument capacity not optimally suited to answering your scientific questions.
