Cedars-Sinai Biobank and Research Pathology Resource

The vision for the Biobank is to establish an enterprise-wide state-of-the-art biorepository that provides biospecimens for research, a pipeline of assays, and digital image analysis tools to perform quantitative measurements in tissue.  We want to arm researchers with necessary resources so they can translate laboratory discoveries into patient care in the most expedited way.

Cedars‑Sinai OncoBiobank SR is a component of Cedars-Sinai’s cancer research infrastructure, ensuring high-quality cohort development, efficient biospecimen management and rigorous data integration. We set the standard for sample collection, storage and annotation, enhancing research impact through robust quality control and standardization. Partnering with other cores, BRP and the Translational Research Concierge (TRC), we harness advanced data analytics to drive innovation and accelerate scientific breakthroughs.
